Three NHL teams can clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night.
The Winnipeg Jets have the easiest route. If the Jets (27-21-3, 57 points) beat the Calgary Flames (22-25-3, 47) in regulation time, they will join North Division foes Toronto and Edmonton in the postseason.
In the Central Division, the Nashville Predators (29-22-2, 60) will earn the final playoff spot if they beat the Columbus Blue Jackets (16-25-12, 44) and the Tampa Bay Lightning top the Dallas Stars (21-17-14, 56) in regulation.
The defending champion Lightning (35-14-3, 73), the league-leading Carolina Hurricanes (36-10-7, 79) and Florida Panthers (35-14-5, 75) have sewn up the other three playoff spots in the division, with final positioning to be decided in the regular season's waning days.
And in the West, the St. Louis Blues (24-19-7, 55) will nab the fourth and final playoff spot if they defeat the Anaheim Ducks (16-30-7, 39) and the Arizona Coyotes (22-25-6, 50) beat the Los Angeles Kings (20-24-6, 46) in regulation time.
The Vegas Golden Knights (36-13-2, 74), Colorado Avalanche (34-12-4, 72) and Minnesota Wild (33-14-4, 70) have already qualified in the West.
