Albert Pujols stands one home run away from joining a heralded club after hitting No. 699 at Dodger Stadium Friday night.

Pujols, 42, hit the long ball to left field in the third inning off of Dodgers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney.

With his next homer, Pujols will join Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds and Henry Aaron as the only players to have hit 700 home runs in their careers.
