Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain and will miss at least three weeks, according to multiple reports.

Zubac was hurt during the first half of the Clippers' 103-88 win over the rival Lakers on Saturday. He hobbled off the court and did not return from the locker room.

Zubac, 28, has been the Clippers' starting center for the bulk of the last seven years. In 498 career games for the franchise (456 starts), he has averaged 11.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.

Zubac did not miss much time due to injury in recent years. He played 80 of a possible 82 games in 2024-25 and exceeded 70 games in five of the past six seasons.

Through 28 games (all starts) this season, Zubac averaged 15.6 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He was an All-Defensive second-team selection last year thanks in part to his career-high 12.6 rebounds per game.
